Several years ago, we went with you to Home Depot when all the Christmas things were out, including these ginormous stuffed unicorns. I don’t know what unicorns have to do with Christmas, but I bet they could pull Santa’s sleigh if the reindeer ever go on strike. You wanted to go over and give this unicorn a cuddle, and I don’t blame you. She sure looks soft!

This wasn’t your only unicorn encounter. You and I went a couple of times to Crockadoodle, a pottery place where you pick an unfinished piece of pottery, paint it in the colours you want, then it is baked in the oven, or kiln, and comes out all smooth and shiny. Here a pic of the ceramic unicorn you and I painted. It’s not very big, but looks nice as a decoration on a desk or dresser. It's a pink unicorn with a purple horn and hooves.

For your third birthday, you got a pink unicorn housecoat from your great aunt Norma. It was soft and you looked so cute in it. Unicorns and rainbows tend to go together, so it’s not so surprising you had so many unicorns in your life as you are a rainbow baby.

Why 17?
